Room Information

  • Self-catering family accommodation in a renovated farmhouse from the 1930's. Experience a farmstay at Bezalel Wine & Brandy Estate, just outside of Upington in the Northern Cape and enjoy a free tasting of our award-winning products.

    The farmhouse is situated about 100 meters from the main facilities, such as the Garden Cafe and the Tasting Room. Please note that we are not allowed to legally trade on Saturdays and Sundays and as such these facilities are currently closed over weekends, Good Friday and Christmas Day.

    The unit has access to a large stoep and braai area. Please feel free to use the ample supply of firewood provided - if you require more, please ask for a top-up. The stoep overlooks the lower Orange River Valley and our irrigation dam. You are welcome to take a walk or a bike ride through the vineyards. Please note that children must be supervised at all times.

Was a great stay. The enclosed outside area was perfect for my labrador, which is an outside dog to stay over the night. She also really enjoyed a bit of farm life and exploring the dam. The resident dogs were also very friendly with her. Great stay overall

Clean and beautifully furnished. Beautiful wine farm area with a small garden in front of the room. The staff in the small farm café was very friendly and helpful. A wine and brandy tasting is complimentary with the booking and the staff made it a great experience. Highly recommended and we would always come back when driving through Upington again.
